Have you ever had an opinion of common interest. Oh and I’m not talking about you and your friends, I’m talking about something that everyone around the world feels about (okay well let me just slow down a little, but y’know what I’m talking about or you maybe don’t well...) I’m talking about Internet Memes.
If it isn't about popular topics in the world, poking fun at the ridiculous fashion of some celebrities, or even taking shots at how Drake pretends to be a gangster but makes soft music, it’s…. well it isn't a meme now is it. Memes are ideas or opinions that are spread out in a culture and they usually take the form of hash-tags, images, or videos (you know what I meme.. I mean, “mean”, see what I did there) they are spread out by social media networks and they relate to Internet culture or subcultures that are directed towards fads or sensations that grow in society. So why should Leuzinger care about this? Well simply because a lot of students here know about them. We revert to them for a quick chuckle, we share them with friends for a big laugh and we show them to our teachers to get our phones taken away…(Um that came out wrong) but overall they brighten up the day, get a conversation going, but I think they're just there to get our opinions out to there about common issues or just funny things in our life.
